Prof. B. B. Putti who has 25 years of clinical experience in Trauma, Orthopaedics Surgeries, heads the department.  He is trained in West Germany and U.K.  He is AO Fellow, SICOT & Asia Pacific Fellow.  He is specialized in Spine, Joint Replacement, & difficult & neglected Trauma cases.

Prof. S. M. Antin with the clinical experience 25 years a senior Trauma & Orthopaedics surgeon.  He is known for handling and good decision making in difficult cases.

Prof. V. G. Murakibhavi who is trained in U.K. for 4 years in famous hospitals and has clinical experience of 20 years .  He is also trained in Germany as AO Fellow.  He is specialized in Trauma, Joint Replacements and Arthroscopy. He is a Member of WOC ( World Orthopaedic Concern ), International Bone & Joint T. B. Club, Indian Orthopaedic Association , Karnataka Orthopaedic Association, Indian Red Cross society & Member of AOAA ( Switzerland ). 

Dr. R. B. Uppin M. S. (Ortho) A. O. Fellow working as Associate Prof. in Orthopaedics, Consultant K.L.E.S. Hospital and MRC and Hon. Orthopaedics Surgeon in District Hospital Belgaum, awarded A. O. Fellowship from Germany, Trained in Trauma and Hand Surgery.

Apart from above senior surgeons the department enjoys other senior & enthusiastic well trained surgeons in India and abroad who are specialized in Arthroscopy, Polytrauma, Hand Surgeries and AO trained surgeries.

Dr. Shailesh V. Udapudi working as Associate professor with working experience of 14 years.  He is specialized in Arthroscopy, joint Replacement and management of trauma and spine.  He has been trained at University of Illinois, Chicago, USA in the trauma management and Emergency room management. 

Dr. Kiran S. Patil D. Ortho., M.S (Ortho), D.A (Bom).

Trained in Orthopaedic Intensive Care Unit, Emergency trauma and resuscitative measures in one of the most premium trauma case institute viz., Lokmanya Tilak memorial government hospital and Lokmanya Tilak Medical College, Sion Mumbai popularly recognized as SION HOSPITAL.

Trained in Paediatric Orthopaedic surgeries in the most well known and prestigious hospital which drains the patients from whole of the nation viz., CHILDREN’S ORTHOPAEDIC HOSPITAL, MUMBAI which is run by central government of Indian and recognized by university of Mumbai as a post graduate institute.

Experienced in hand surgery and other reconstructive surgeries under Dr. B. B. Joshi at Nanavati Hospital Mumbai.  The said hospital is recognized by university of Mumbai as postgraduate institute.  This institute deals with treatment of difficult trauma patients, complicated Orthopaedic patients and Revision surgeries.

Undergone Basic AO Training workshop in principles of fixation of fractures.

Qualified as Diploma in Anaesthesiology awarded by the prestigious College of Physicians and Surgeons Mumbai, which is added advantage in quick triaging of acute trauma patients.

Working as a Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon, KLES Hospital since last 15 years.

Working as a Orthopaedic faculty in J. N. Medical college Belgaum since last 15 years.

Working as a Orthopaedic faculty in J. N. Medical college Belgaum since last 17 years.  Presently holding a post of Associate Prof. for last 5 years.
